ANALYSIS: Russell Gage had a monster start to the year. The Falcons wide receiver played 69 and 82 percent of Atlanta's snaps on offense, finished W1 and W2 with 20.4 and 16.6 PPR points respectively (good for WR11 and WR20), but then proceeded to go down the sink with gusto. Gage only topped 11 PPR points once in the W3-W9 span before going on a W10 bye. After that, though, Gage has averaged 13.8 PPR points... and he just threw (threw!) a touchdown this past Sunday!!!

Gage is not the WR1, nor WR2, of the Falcons. That being said, though, Gage has been targeted an average of 8 times per game in the last four weeks. While not a high-TD-scorer, Gage catches balls more often than not with a 59% catch rate and 19 receptions on 32 targets in that span to go with 1 TD two weeks ago.

It's been four games in a row in which Gage has been present in at least 72 percent of Atlanta's offensive snaps, and back-to-back matches with 7+ targets, 4+ catches, and 51+ yards to Gage's name. He's also strung 15+ PPR games twice for the first time since his W1-W2 performances.

The Falcons have a sweet matchup ahead facing the 22nd-best defense against WRs in Tampa Bay's before visiting Kansas City (2nd-best) in Championship Week. If only for a week, Gage should be a WW target in every slightly-deep fantasy league.
