OK. It looks like the training wheels are finally going to be off for Rusney Castillo. Boston has him starting in left field and they are going to see if that seven-year, $72.5 million contract is worth it. Either the Cuban will break out and make everyone in the Red Sox front office happy they shelled out the money or he will be seeing Chris Young take his place later. No pressure or anything, right? If he makes the adjustments to what's being pitched to him, he could turn things around quickly. Anything better than a .253 batting average and much more power than five homers would be great. Otherwise he could be riding the pine a lot sooner than he would like. Boston's a large-market team and they aren't afraid to make changes, no matter what the cost. Right now our writers are all viewing him as a player to be picked much later in the draft, with him being around the bottom end of their Top 300 players, though one did have him as high as No. 235. He might be good to draft late and then stash on your bench to gauge his early season numbers.
