Here at RotoBaller, we are always searching for ways to give our readers the best fantasy sports content possible. With that goal in mind, we are very proud of our weekly PGA “One and Done” column. In this feature, our golf staff of Joe Nicely, Spencer Aguiar and Josh Bennett will provide their weekly golf picks every Wednesday. The purpose of this article is to present you with alternative options to consider and hopefully make your selection a much easier process weekly. With that plan in mind, let's get started!
After a quick start from Hideki Matsuyama, I was hopeful for a big payday at the Workday Charity Open, but, alas, 'Deki forgot how to putt over the weekend and a nosedive down to a middling T21 ensued. Spencer probably had those emotions in reverse, as his selection of Rickie Fowler barely squeaked into the weekend before eventually tying Hideki in 21st place. Josh's boy Justin Rose looked like he had either the English countryside or his Morgan Stanley portfolio on his mind, as the wheels were off early en route to a trunk slam.
This week's Memorial will be played on the same Muirfield Village layout, but we see a huge bump in the strength of the field. With a huge payday at stake, and tons of stars to choose from, it will be interesting to see who the guys are going with this week. Let's tee it up!

One and Done Selections - The Memorial
Joe Nicely - Patrick Cantlay
Alternate - Collin Morikawa
I had honestly planned on "saving" Patrick Cantlay for a major championship, but I'm gonna go ahead and fire him up in the Memorial for the second year in a row, though I have a nagging suspicion that Josh is gonna copy my pick this week. Cantlay came through like the world-class player that he is last year, taking down Jack's tournament for a huge payday and a true breakthrough victory, and I expect more of the same this go around.
I like everything about this spot for Cantlay...he gained strokes in every major category in a nice little knock-the-rust-off start in last week's Workday Charity Open and should now be ready to get down to the serious business at hand this week. His game is perhaps the most well-rounded on the PGA Tour, as he has no real weaknesses. This Muirfield Village layout rewards those types of players (see Tiger's five victories as proof) and Cantlay has never had a bad outing on this golf course. I don't expect him to start this week. -Joe Nicely

Alternate - Collin Morikawa
Playing in a three-person contest adds a unique dynamic for how to maneuver through each week. I always attempt to make my selections to help out everyone reading this article, but the strategy has to be moderately different to account for the unorthodox setup that comes into play.
Unfortunately, I can see what is going to happen to me this weekend. I'm trying to be a good student in the front of the classroom, but I continue to hear mumblings of Patrick Cantlay coming from the back, and it appears as if Joe and Josh are comparing notes - perhaps considering coying off of each other once again. Where is the professor at RotoBaller University when you need them?!
While Cantlay is sadly an acceptable answer to provide for this week's test and is showing up as the top choice on my study guide, I am going to have to put out their potential version of double-fire with a trip to Xander Island. This all-inclusive resort features the finer amenities one would hope to find at a five-star retreat, and there is even a chance to hit a jackpot of over one million dollars if everything goes according to plan. Sure, you will have to deal with Xander's father in the room next door complaining about how his son sucks at golf, but quarantining myself on this island appears to be my best move. Here's to a good weekend, and can someone please tell Joe and Josh to stay six-feet apart during these troubling times. -Spencer Aguiar

Josh Bennett - Patrick Cantlay
Alternate - Paul Casey
As promised last week, Cantlay is my guy this week. My fear from last week is coming true halfway through this two-part Muirfield situation, but I’m going to stick to the plan. Cantlay had a great week last week while Rose had an awful week, exactly what I was hoping wouldn’t happen. I mentioned that I trusted Cantlay to be able to play two great events in a row, so I’m really hoping he falls in line there instead of my fear of having the two picked in the wrong weeks coming true. My reasoning for Cantlay remains unchanged from last week, he’s one of the best ball-strikers in this field (even with a juiced up field) and his combination of off the tee game and great iron play should put him in contention again this week. He added onto his good history at this course last week, I’m looking forward to him continuing that trend again this week.
