BALLER MOVE: Add in 12+ Team Leagues
ROSTERED IN: 35% of Leagues
ANALYSIS: The Cardinals welcomed DeAndre Hopkins back a couple of weeks ago and, of course, he was his old self and the no. 1 wideout of 'Zona the minute he graced the gridiron. That was always expected, but what we have grown accustomed to expecting these days is a much more interesting thing: Rondale Moore is this team's WR2 and he's here to stay, even more with Marquise Brown down injured.
Yes, there is a case to be made for Greg Dortch as the team no. 2 wideout but he's played fewer snaps, gotten fewer targets, and produced fewer PPR on a per-game basis compared to Moore. Not to mention, Dortch's production has been virtually non-existent once Moore started to play in Week 4 with the former getting just five total targets between W4 and W8.
Moore is coming off an absolute explosion in Week 8 to the tune of a near-perfect 7-reception (8 targets), 92-yard, one-touchdown outing at Minnesota. It marked the first game with a score for Moore in the first half of the season, and the first game above 13 PPR points for him. Pending MNF, Moore's 23.4 fantasy points this past Sunday have him ranked WR6 on the most recent slate of games.
Moore is now established in the receiving corps of the Cardinals, is playing more than 85% snaps weekly since he appeared for the first time this season back in Week 5, and while he's not going to reach Hopkins' 13+ targets per game any time soon we can easily see Moore getting 6+ weekly ROS.
Don't count on Moore to give you WR1/WR2 production weekly but he should be good for at least some low-end WR2 weeks and be a lock to put up numbers at the WR3/FLEX level without much trouble.
