ANALYSIS: Green Bay Packers wide receiver Romeo Doubs just got a whole lot more interesting. (Former) star WR Christian Watson sprained his ankle in the Packers' Week 4 loss to the Vikings, meaning his targets are now available to the other receivers. Doubs saw eight targets in that game.

Doubs hasn't produced well this season, so it's hard to trust him yet in leagues with 12 or fewer teams. The Packers ran a ridiculous number of pass plays, so eight targets look a bit better than they actually are. That said, he's a great route runner, and it's surprising he hasn't been more involved in the offense.
He also is the receiver that's on the field the most. Romeo mostly stays on the field while Jayden Reed plays in 11-personnel (three wide receiver sets) and Dontayvion Wicks rotates out with Watson normally. Wicks saw a lot more of the field in Watson's absence but Doubs' role wasn't affected.
Whatever the reason for Romeo's ineffectiveness this season (just 28.9 PPR fantasy points through four games), managers should stash him on their benches and see if he has better days. It doesn't help that the Packers have so many weapons on offense to spread the ball around to.
