BALLER MOVE: Start in 14+ Team PPR Leagues
POSITIONAL VALUE: WR3/FLEX
ANALYSIS: Green Bay Packers wide receiver Romeo Doubs received a lot of praise in the offseason for his route running and separation ability, and earned seven targets in Week 1, the last game Packers starting QB Jordan Love played in, but he's a tough start due to having a lot of target competition.
Doubs is the second receiver on the Packers' official depth chart, but the ball gets spread around so much that he usually doesn't get consistent volume in the passing game. He's also not nearly as athletic as fellow WRs Jayden Reed and Christian Watson.

Despite consistently making good plays, it will be tough for Doubs to see that consistent volume that you want out of a fantasy starter. Doubs could take a back seat to Watson, Reed, or even 4th string receiver Dontayvion Wicks at any time. It's tough to predict what the Packers will do in any given week.
He did have seven targets in Week 1, which is encouraging, but still makes him a tough sell in 12 or fewer team leagues. Doubs scored just 9 PPR fantasy points that game, and it's unlikely he'll have a consistent high floor or ceiling enough to justify him being locked into lineups.
Leave Doubs on the bench outside of deeper leagues until he shows consistent production if that day does arrive.
