Atlanta Falcons veteran wide receiver Roddy White is unhappy with his role in the passing game thus far this season. White went off on the media when discussing how he's currently being used by the team.
"For me, at the end of the day, I want to catch passes," White told ESPN.com. "I'm not out here just f---ing around just to sit around to just block f---ing people all day. It's not what I want to do.
Through the first four games of the season White has hauled in only six passes on 13 targets for 95 yards and no touchdowns. Quarterback Matt Ryan hasn't looked in White's direction very often at all this season. Instead, Ryan has favored Julio Jones and Leonard Hankerson.
The problem is White's skills have been deteriorating for the past few seasons and now that he's nearing 34-years-old, he's no longer the receiving threat he once was. Hankerson has been outplaying him in every phase of the game.
White is still worth holding onto in fantasy leagues, but only start him as a desperate bye week replacement.
