BALLER MOVE: Add in 14+ Team Leagues
OWNED IN: 3 percent of Fleaflicker leagues
ANALYSIS: Throughout his minor league tenure, Robbie Grossman showed great patience at the plate, along with some pop and speed. He was never able to translate that success to the big leagues, though, producing below-average numbers in parts of three seasons with the Astros. Houston let him walk in the offseason, and after being designated for assignment by the Indians, he's currently tearing it up for the Twins. Grossman has been caught on both of his stolen base attempts, but he's hitting .325/.464/.623 with five homers and 31 R+RBI in just 23 games. He has more walks than strikeouts and is making plenty of hard contact. While you shouldn't expect a four-digit OPS moving forward, Grossman appears to have finally played his way into an everyday role and is worth an extended look in deep and AL-Only leagues.
