RIVAL FantasyBook NFL Over/Under Picks for Week 17
Brian Robinson Jr. OVER 11.41 Fantasy Points
The Washington Commanders aren't exactly an offensive juggernaut, but they are committed to the run. With Commanders RB Antonio Gibson ruled out for a Week 17 tilt with the Cleveland Browns, Washington rookie Brian Robinson will garner all the work he can handle.
It's not as if he needs much help anyway, as Robinson has averaged 19.0 rushing attempts per game since Week 10. This week he draws a smash spot against a Cleveland Browns defense that has been repeatedly gashed on the ground. Cleveland has relinquished 5.24 yards per carry this season, as well as the third-most fantasy points in the NFL to the RB position.
Leonard Fournette OVER 13.49 Fantasy Points
The veteran running back has see-sawed in and out of favor in the Tampa Bay backfield this season. Fournette has hung tough and appears to have fended off rookie Rachaad White for the Bucs' lead RB role, at least for the moment.
Fournette put forth his most complete performance of the season last week, totaling 162 yards in a win over Arizona. He earned a ridiculous 30 total opportunities against the Cards which included 10 targets in the passing game and should once again be in line for a large workload against the Carolina Panthers, as the Bucs will likely lean on their experienced veteran down the stretch.
Davante Adams UNDER 17.48 Fantasy Points
As a general rule, I dislike betting against players as talented as Davante Adams. That said, there are unusual circumstances at play this week, as Las Vegas Raiders QB Derek Carr has been benched in favor of backup Jarrett Stidham.
Stidham has little in-game experience and has attempted only 61 passes in his career, completing 32 of those attempts for 342 yards, two TDs, and four INTs. The third-year pro has attempted just 13 passes for the Raiders this season and would need to step up in a big way to support Adams' large RIVAL O/U against a vicious San Francisco pass rush.
Jared Goff OVER 17.75 Fantasy Points
Jared Goff has outperformed all expectations in 2022. Goff has passed for 3,959 yards and 26 TDs while throwing just seven picks. He ranks ninth at the QB position in total DraftKings points scored this year.
Goff and this Lions' passing attack draw a prime matchup against a talentless Chicago Bears defense that's been pasted across the board. The Bears stand dead last in the NFL in Total Defense DVOA.
D.J. Chark OVER 11.60 Fantasy Points
It's been an injury-plagued season for St. Brown's fellow wideout, D.J. Chark. However, the offseason acquisition has flashed his talent since returning from a lengthy injury absence in Week 11. Chark has totaled 90 or more receiving yards in three of Detroit's last four.
He's a legit downfield threat that's averaging 17.3 yards per catch. There's big potential for him against a Bears secondary that's allowing the most yards per target (9.31) in the league.
