RIVAL Over/Under Picks
Two series with the Knicks and Warriors both down 3-1. The Knicks are fighting an uphill battle against a peaking Heat team while it seems to many Golden State fans that the Warriors have the Lakers exactly where they want them.
Kyle Lowry OVER 24.02 fantasy points
Kyle Lowry has scored at least 14 points in three out of the four games versus the Knicks and he’s been, by far, the best bench player this series.
Until the Knicks prove they can stop anyone on Miami there’s no reason to assume they will start with shutting down the Heat’s premier bench option.
If anything, Lowry is going to continue to benefit from the space the Knicks backcourt is giving him and he’s posting enough rebounds and assists to where even a mediocre shooting night means the over can be easily hit.
Jalen Brunson OVER 41.77 fantasy points
The Knicks are going to rely on their best player now more than ever. After having his best game of the series it’s evident the Heat are struggling to defend Jalen Brunson just as much as the Knicks are struggling to guard Miami.
It hasn’t really been a back and forth between both teams, but at least Brunson is putting up massive stat lines that we can assume will continue for as long as this series goes on.
The Knicks have one option tonight and their only hope of winning is if the supporting cast can provide enough support.
Austin Reaves UNDER 30.85 fantasy points
Although he’s been one of the Lakers better role players, he doesn’t accumulate enough stats across the board to hit this over.
Shooting guards are by far the worst position to take overs on. Even in games where they shoot well, they rarely do enough elsewhere to push them over the edge and Austin Reaves fits this category.
Seeing how little assists and rebounds he gets normally, even if he does manage a few defensive stats it won’t be enough for this inflated projection.
Gabe Vincent OVER 19.57 fantasy points
Gabe Vincent has been one of the most volatile bets all season. Whether its DFS, prop-betting, or just straight up line-bets, Vincent has likely helped and burned you multiple times this season.
His upside is uncapped and his floor is ever-sinking. The exact type of player that fits perfectly as a championship-caliber role player or as a starter on a Gregg Popovich-coached squad.
In Games 1 and 2, he shot a combined 31 shot attempts and scored 41 points. Throughout Games 3 and 4, he’s taken 15 shots and scored eight points. Since Vincent isn’t exactly forcing his way into the scoring column each night, there is some risk involved.
