BALLER MOVE: Start in 12+ Team Leagues
POSITIONAL VALUE: RB3/FLEX
ANALYSIS: The Dallas Cowboys are still experimenting with the arrangement of their backfield, which has made it somewhat frustrating and difficult to trust Ezekiel Elliott and Rico Dowdle in fantasy football.
Elliott got the bulk of the work in Week 1, but he played less than one-fifth of the offensive snaps in Week 3. Meanwhile, Dowdle's rushing production has been limited, but he has impressed as a receiver and played at least 40 percent of snaps in all three games so far.
The Cowboys face the Giants on Thursday Night Football in Week 4, leaving fantasy managers wondering whether Dowdle is worth starting in fantasy football. The good news for Dowdle, who has seven catches and 10 targets over his last two games, is that New York has struggled to contain pass-catching backs, allowing the eighth-most receiving yards to opposing running backs this year.

Plus, while Dowdle hasn't registered more than eight carries in a single game this year, he's still been productive on the ground, registering 3.83 yards per carry.
Ultimately, Dowdle is worth deploying as an RB3/FLEX in leagues with 12-plus teams, and he could even warrant some lineup consideration in 10-team PPR formats. A favorable matchup bodes well for Dowdle to produce in fantasy football this Thursday.
