The bulk of the Week 11 NFL slate is nearly here, meaning fantasy players must make some last-minute start ‘em and sit ‘em decisions. Rico Dowdle, Jalen Guyton, and Brandin Cooks have been inconsistent options for fantasy players in 2023.
Dowdle faces an awful Carolina Panthers run defense. Meanwhile, Guyton takes on the Green Bay Packers on the road. Lastly, Cooks will look to keep up his hot streak against the Panthers.

Should I Start Rico Dowdle For Fantasy Football?
Dowdle is the RB53 for the year, averaging 4.7 half-point PPR fantasy points per game. The former South Carolina star has 47 rushing attempts for 212 yards and a touchdown this season. He also has seven receptions for 57 receiving yards and a score in 2023.
This week, he faces the Panthers in an appealing fantasy football matchup for the running back. Carolina has surrendered 27.3 fantasy points per game to running backs, the second-most in the NFL. Furthermore, they have given up at least one rushing touchdown to running backs in all but two games this year.
Fantasy players should consider Dowdle a mid-range RB4 in Week 11.
Should I Start Jalen Guyton For Fantasy Football?
Guyton is the WR137 for the year, averaging 6.1 half-point PPR fantasy points per game. The veteran receiver has four receptions on eight targets for 41 receiving yards and a touchdown in two games this season. He scored his first touchdown in over a year last week.
This week, he faces the Packers in an unfriendly fantasy football matchup for the wide receiver. Green Bay has surrendered 23.2 fantasy points per game to wide receivers, the fifth-fewest in the NFL. Last week, they gave up only 65 receiving yards and 9.6 fantasy points to the Pittsburgh Steelers wide receivers.
Fantasy players should consider Guyton a desperate flex option in Week 11.
Should I Start Brandin Cooks For Fantasy Football?
Cooks is the WR52 for the year, averaging 8.4 half-point PPR fantasy points per game. The former Oregon State star has 26 receptions on 39 targets for 338 receiving yards and three touchdowns this season. He is coming off his best performance of the year, totaling 173 receiving yards and 27.8 fantasy points in the win over the New York Giants.
This week, he faces the Panthers in an ugly fantasy football matchup for the wide receiver. Carolina has surrendered 22.4 fantasy points per game to wide receivers, the fourth-fewest in the NFL. Furthermore, they haven’t given up a receiving touchdown to a wide receiver over the past four weeks.
Fantasy players should consider Cooks a low-end WR3 in Week 11.
