BALLER MOVE: Start in 14+ Team Leagues
POSITIONAL VALUE: RB4
ANALYSIS: Dallas Cowboys running back Rico Dowdle has found the end zone in two of the last three games, but he remains a risky RB4 play in fantasy leagues at this point because of a lack of touches.
Last week against the Commanders, Dowdle found the end zone on a 15-year reception, but he had just four touches in the game. It ended a two-game stretch of double-digit targets for Dowdle, who before this season had just seven carries in his NFL career. He's had seven or more carries in three individual games this season and has seen his role with the Cowboys grow as the 2023 NFL season has rolled along.
There's fantasy upside with Dowdle because of his recent touchdowns and it wouldn't be a shock to see him have closer to 10 touches this week than the four he had last week. Still, temper your expectations because he's also got a fairly low ceiling. He's one over 26 rushing yards just one time all season and that came in a game against a porous New York Giants defense.
