ANALYSIS: Green Bay’s receivers have been plagued with injuries, so Richard Rodgers had been a de facto target for quarterback Aaron Rodgers in recent games. Rodgers has 13 receptions for 124 yards and one touchdown over his last three games. Rodgers was more of a blocker to start his career, but he is beginning to transition into a well-rounded tight end. He has shown the ability to use his bulky body in tight quarters and down in the red zone.
The Packers have a Sunday night meeting with a Broncos team whose defense is the best against the pass in the NFL. But with Aaron Rodgers at the helm, the tight end should get some good looks this week-- and beyond.
