Rhamondre Stevenson fantasy football start 'em, sit 'em picks for Week 5 (2024). Should you start or sit Rhamondre Stevenson for fantasy football lineups?
BALLER MOVE: Start in 12+ Team Leagues
POSITIONAL VALUE: RB24
ANALYSIS: New England Patriots running back Rhamondre Stevenson looked like a superstar over the first two weeks, averaging 100.5 rushing yards and 18.1 half-point PPR fantasy points per game, totaling at least 81 and 16 in both contests. However, he has struggled over the past two weeks, totaling 66 rushing yards and 6.5 fantasy points.
Unfortunately, the veteran running back has had a fumble in every game this year. Head coach Jerod Mayo told the media earlier this week that the team is considering benching Stevenson for Antonio Gibson against the Miami Dolphins.
#Patriots HC Jerod Mayo on whether he’s considered starting Antonio Gibson over Rhamondre Stevenson, who has fumbled in all four games:

While Gibson could get the start this week, Stevenson will have a meaningful role against the AFC East division rivals. The Dolphins have struggled to slow down opposing running backs, giving up 26.8 fantasy points per game, the fourth-most in the NFL.
Furthermore, Miami has given up at least 102 rushing yards and two touchdowns to running backs in three consecutive games. Stevenson is a solid RB2 option in Week 5, even if Gibson is listed as the starter.
