BALLER MOVE: Add Only as Handcuff

ANALYSIS: While Buffalo Bills running back Ray Davis had a touchdown in Week 3 against the Jacksonville Jaguars, it didn't come until the fourth quarter when the game was already a massive blowout. Davis punched it in from three yards out, providing a crucial (not really) score to make it 46-10 Bills.

The Bills' game plan has been to feed the hell out of starting RB James Cook, as it was in 2023 after old offensive coordinator Ken Dorsey was fired and new OC Joe Brady took over playcalling duties. If the game is anywhere within reach, James will Cook in the backfield, with other backs being involved minimally.
Davis would presumably become the lead back if Cook were to suffer an injury, but he doesn't have much value when Cook is healthy, so he's just a handcuff bench stash for now. Davis could become more involved as the season goes on, but it seems not very likely as long as Cook continues to perform as he is.
Davis isn't worth picking up for any standalone value, but Cook owners should consider adding him as injury insurance. The Bills have a good run-blocking offensive line and Brady built his offense around the RB.
