BALLER MOVE: Do Not Add in Any Leagues

ANALYSIS: Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Rashod Bateman was a popular deep sleeper candidate heading into the 2024 NFL season. However, the veteran wide receiver has struggled to make an impact, averaging only 7.4 half-point PPR fantasy points per game.
After totaling five receptions on nine targets for 93 receiving yards and 11.8 fantasy points over the first two weeks, Bateman had three receptions on four targets for 28 receiving yards and a touchdown on Sunday, scoring 10.3 fantasy points. While the touchdown got him into double-digit fantasy points, the veteran isn’t worth adding in standard-size fantasy football leagues.

The Ravens are a run-heavy offense with Derrick Henry healthy. Lamar Jackson had only 15 pass attempts in the win over the Dallas Cowboys in Week 3. Bateman lucked out with a touchdown, scoring only 4.3 fantasy points without it.
More importantly, the veteran is fifth in the passing game behind Zay Flowers, Mark Andrews, Isaiah Likely, and Justice Hill. Fantasy players should let a league mate add Bateman off the waiver wire.
