BALLER MOVE: Sit in all leagues
POSITIONAL VALUE: WR64
ANALYSIS: Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Rashod Bateman is a former first-round NFL Draft pick with massive upside. Unfortunately, he has struggled in the league because of injury. The former Minnesota star has missed 33.3% of the games in his career because of various injuries. However, he only missed one game last season.
Despite missing significant time with injuries, the Ravens signed Bateman to a contract extension in the offseason. Head coach John Harbaugh has big expectations for the veteran wide receiver in 2024, especially with Odell Beckham Jr. no longer with the team.

While Bateman is worthy of a speculative add off the waiver wire heading into tonight’s game against the Kansas City Chiefs, fantasy players shouldn’t start him in any formats this week.
The veteran wide receiver scored fewer than 7.6 half-point PPR fantasy points in every game last year. Hopefully, Bateman can finally have a breakout season, but fantasy players shouldn’t start him until he has a massive performance.

The wide receiver position has an advantage over the running back position in PPR scoring formats, typically. Not every WR is like this, though, […]
