ANALYSIS: Trusting Rashid Shaheed's fantasy results takes a bit of an effort, but at this point through the season with the fantasy playoffs already here and speaking of WW targets for those managing in deeper leagues... you can definitely do much worse than grabbing some Sha' Shares.
Shaheed has turned into the Saint with the most snaps on a weekly basis, virtually on par with rookie Chris Olave and veteran Jarvis Landry. From Week 11 on and entering Week 15, Olave had logged 102 snaps to Landry's 92 and Shaheed's 91. Even if you don't believe in Shaheed as the Saints' WR2 ROS, he's definitely not below the WR3 role.
The rookie played for the first time in Week 6, scoring one rushing touchdown on one single play of 44 rushing yards. That was a fluke, of course. Then, another outlier 1-for-1 game catching his lone target for 53 yards turned into a TD handed him 12.3 PPR points in Week 7.
Something had to give, and Shaheed followed that ridiculously efficient run with four games topping at 7.9 PPR. He's back now as a much more complete, believing, reliable, and steady offensive weapon. The Saints had their bye in Week 14 and Shaheed sandwiched it with 10.5 PPR points (4-of-4, 75 yards) and lastly 18.5, going 3-of-4 for 95 yards and his second receiving TD of the year.
The Saints just edged Atlanta 21-18 and that measly three-point difference came down to (among other things) that score by the rookie Shaheed. The volume is not incredible but the snaps keep going his way and he's automatic at catching passes and making the most of those chances. Not many better fliers to use in your WR3/Flex slot ROS.
