Should I Start Rashee Rice For Fantasy Football?
Rice is the WR42 for the year, averaging 8.6 half-point PPR fantasy points per game. The former SMU star has 30 receptions on 39 targets for 361 receiving yards and three touchdowns this season. He has had at least 55 receiving yards or a touchdown in five of the past six contests.
This week, he faces the Dolphins in an appealing fantasy football matchup for the wide receiver. Miami has surrendered 30.5 fantasy points per game to wide receivers, the 12th-most in the NFL. Furthermore, they gave up two receiving touchdowns to the New England Patriots wide receivers last week.
Fantasy players should consider Rice a mid-range WR3 in Week 9.
Should I Start Devin Singletary For Fantasy Football?
Singletary is the RB55 for the year, averaging 4.3 half-point PPR fantasy points per game. The former Florida Atlantic star has 49 rushing attempts for 183 yards and zero touchdowns this season. However, he will be the lead running back with Dameon Pierce out this week.
This week, he faces the Falcons in an underwhelming fantasy football matchup for the running back. Atlanta has surrendered only 14.6 fantasy points per game to running backs, the fourth-fewest in the NFL. Furthermore, the Falcons haven’t allowed a rushing touchdown by a running back this year.
Fantasy players should consider Singletary a mid-range RB3 with limited upside in Week 9.
Should I Start Jakobi Meyers For Fantasy Football?
Meyers is the WR20 for the year, averaging 12.8 half-point PPR fantasy points per game. The former North Carolina State star has 38 receptions on 57 targets for 404 receiving yards and five touchdowns this season. He has found the end zone in three of the past four contests.
This week, he faces the Giants in a decent fantasy football matchup for the wide receiver. New York has surrendered 28.3 fantasy points per game to wide receivers, slightly above the league average. However, they haven’t given up a receiving touchdown to wide receivers over the past two weeks.
Fantasy players should consider Meyers a high-end WR3 in Week 9.
