BALLER MOVE: Add in 14+ Team PPR Leagues

ANALYSIS: I guess this is the closest we'll get to targeting a backup rusher once some leading RB1 gets banged up and is expected to miss time, only at the wide receiver position. Enter Randal Cobb (the "backup") and Christian Watson (the "leading man"). The latter got injured after appearing in just 18 snaps opening a clear path for Cobb to rack up everything from snaps to routes to targets to the rest. And the veteran delivered.
Of course, the rookie Watson can be considered the leading Packers' wideout, but you get the idea. Cobb went from averaging three targets through Week 4 to getting as many as 13 (!) looks last Sunday, hauling in seven for 99 yards. The only thing missing was a touchdown.
Cobb was not a worse option than Watson up until this past weekend (similar target volume) but he is now a step higher up the pecking-order ladder. Cobb and QB Aaron Rodgers have a great rapport built over many years, so you know the 7-of-13 is not a fluke.
The 99 receiving yards (Cobb had already posted 57 and 42 in the two games before the last one) proved that Cobb, if given enough chances, still has some juice inside of him. Don't chase Cobb crazily, but target him if you need a WR3/Flex in deeper leagues at least until Watson is confirmed to be 100% ready and available to take on whatever elevated role Cobb takes next.
