BALLER MOVE: Add in 12+ Team Leagues
OWNED IN: 37 percent of Fleaflicker leagues
ANALYSIS: For the past decade, Rajai Davis has been a journeyman well known among fantasy owners as a source of cheap speed and not much else. Over the past two weeks, however, Davis has been one of the most valuable hitters in the game. Despite hitting just .229, he's collected three homers, three stolen bases, and a whopping 24 R+RBI in that time. For the season, he's got five dingers and 11 steals. How long this hot stretch lasts is anybody's guess. Truth be told, it might already be over. But Davis might also be making a conscious effort to sell out for power, given his elevated fly ball and strikeout rates. He's also drawing more walks than usual. Even if he hasn't added a new dimension to his game, Davis has averaged 55 steals per 600 plate appearances for his career - and he's got a firm grip on a starting job right now.
