The Oakland Raiders are still super high on rookie tight end Clive Walford. Coach Jack Del Rio recently called Walford a "complete" tight end despite his lack of productivity thus far this season.
"I think he’s a guy that will begin to emerge more and more," Del Rio said, according to the San Francisco Chronicle. "A good-size guy that is a very capable blocker, who is also a guy who has the athleticism to be a threat as a route runner. So when you combine those things, you feel like he’s got a lot of upside in terms of being a complete tight end, a guy who can do a little bit of both."
Thus far this season Walford has three catches for 48 yards on six targets. Even if he does have superstar potential, he's not on the fantasy football radar in redraft leagues. I'd hold onto him in dynasty leagues, but he is not a startable TE yet this season. If you need a starting tight end for Week 7, consider Jared Cook (vs. Browns) or Larry Donnell (vs. Cowboys).
