BALLER MOVE: Start in 10+ Team Leagues
POSITIONAL VALUE: RB2
ANALYSIS: Miami Dolphins running back Raheem Mostert is one of the most interesting cases in fantasy this year. He is coming off the best season of his career, rushing for 18 touchdowns and finishing as the RB2 in half-PPR formats. But Mostert is now one year older (32), and teammate De'Von Achane should see more opportunities in Year 2.
So, that leaves fantasy managers in a weird position heading into Week 1 of the fantasy football season. With the Dolphins opening the season against the Jacksonville Jaguars, how do you sit the fantasy RB2 from last year? The answer to that question is simple: you don't.
🎥 Raheem Mostert on the Dolphins RB room: "We are the best RB room in the league, there's no doubt about it... each and every one [RB] has made some type of impact in this league, or will make an impact." (@LeBatardShow) #GoFins pic.twitter.com/FiPEoMlJU4

Given how dominant Mostert was in fantasy last year, it's hard to sit him on your bench against Jacksonville. The Jaguars allowed four yards per carry to opposing running backs in 2023, and the 32-year-old veteran should see plenty of chances in the first game of the season. That makes him a solid RB2 option in most leagues in Week 1.

The wide receiver position has an advantage over the running back position in PPR scoring formats, typically.
