"Must Start" Week 16 Starts and Sits - QB and WR
Matt Donnelly's top fantasy football Starts and Sits at WR & QB positions for Week 16 of the 2023 NFL season, including:
-
-
- Baker Mayfield is getting hot at the right time. The 28-year-old threw for 381 yards with four touchdowns in last Sunday's win over the Packers. He's thrown for multiple touchdown passes in six of his previous eight contests. The former No. 1 overall pick has thrown for 3,315 yards and 24 touchdowns while rushing for 152 yards and a score over 14 games this season. Mayfield will look to build on his impressive Week 15 performance in Sunday's matchup against an up-and-down Jaguars pass defense. Jacksonville is 11th in pass DVOA, and the defense has allowed 30-plus points in two of the last three games, making Mayfield a viable streamer and must-start for Week 16.
- Mike Evans caught four of six targets for 57 yards and a touchdown in last Sunday's win over the Green Bay Packers. The 30-year-old has now posted his 10th straight 1,000-yard campaign and cracked the double-digit touchdown mark for the fifth time in his career. Evans has found the end zone in five of his last six games and will look to continue his strong play in the Week 16 matchup against the Jacksonville Jaguars. Jacksonville ranks 12th in DVOA versus opposing WR1s and has recently allowed a ton of fantasy production to other top wideouts such as Amari Cooper (7-77-0) and Ja'Marr Chase (11-149-1). Evans is a must-start and a set-it-and-forget-it option in Week 16.
