How Should You Attack the Tight End Position in 2024?
Every year it feels like we discuss how this could be the year the tight-end position has finally developed some depth. But looking deeper into the rankings and deeper analytics, it is becoming even more clear that there is a dividing line in which you should target in fantasy football drafts. Inside the Top 10, you will find quality options that you will feel comfortable enough in starting each week. But once you get outside of this range and into the group with the likes of David Njoku, Dallas Goedert, and Brock Bowers, the question marks begin to rise.
In so many situations at other positions, many fantasy managers implement the strategy of waiting at the position. But that should not be the case in 2024 with the tight-end position. The key strategy to give you a leg up on the competition this year should be to have one of the top seven to eight tight ends on your roster so that you are not dealing with lineup decisions each week. Sometimes it pays off to stream at the position due to the limits it presents, but that strategy could become fool's gold in 2024. Grab your tight end early this year and let your other league mates fight over the scraps!
