ANALYSIS: Tampa Bay Buccaneers running back Rachaad White split the backfield with Leonard Fournette in 2022. However, the former Arizona State star became the featured back this season. He started the year slow but has been outstanding lately. White is the RB13 for the year, averaging 12.8 half-point PPR fantasy points per game.
The second-year back has 132 rushing attempts for 429 yards and three touchdowns, averaging 3.3 yards per attempt. However, he has been outstanding in the passing game, totaling 35 receptions for 326 receiving yards and a touchdown.
White has been a fantasy superstar lately. The second-year player is the RB4 over the past four weeks, averaging 17.5 fantasy points per game. He has at least 46 receiving yards and 12.9 fantasy points in all four contests.
Meanwhile, the running back faces the San Francisco 49ers in Week 11. The 49ers have held running backs to only 15.4 fantasy points per game this season, the eighth-fewest in the NFL. They have given up 14 or fewer fantasy points to running backs in 67% of their games, including last week. Yet, White’s role in the passing game makes him a startable RB2 despite the tough matchup.
