This week the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series travels to Kentucky Speedway for the Quaker State 400 and another night race. The track is a 1.5-mile intermediate track with a very noticeable bump that always seems to be at the top of conversation each year.
I hit that bump last year and nearly took @dennyhamlin and myself out. Was hoping it was fixed. Note to self: still there.

For fantasy, it will be important to nail down the one or two drivers who have the best shot at dominating the laps led. In each of the six races here at Kentucky since the Cup series came to town, there has been one driver to lead 100+ laps in each race with the laps led leader winning two of the last three. As you will find out in the picks shortly, there is also some nice place differential plays this week that will be hard to avoid. A balance of both is the way to construct lineups this week.
With all that in mind, let's jump in and look at some of the top plays for Saturday night's race.
Daily Fantasy NASCAR: DraftKings DFS Lineup Picks - Quaker State 400
Kyle Larson ($10,000)
He is going to see his ownership spike this week as he failed to make a qualifying run and will start 40th. This gives him elite place differential upside to go with a really fast car. Larson was third in opening practice and first in final practice and also posted the fastest 10-lap average in final practice. He is an elite play in all formats.
Kyle Busch ($10,200)
Busch is my pick for top dominator this week. He qualified on the pole after setting a new track record and has a great track history here with two wins, five Top 10's, and 437 laps led(2nd to only Brad Keselowski).
Clint Bowyer ($8,400)
Looking at the mid-range of salary this week we find Clint Bowyer who comes with some place differential upside starting 16th. He showed Top 10 speed in both practices and his less than ideal track history could help keep his ownership down making him an excellent GPP play.
Landon Cassill ($5,500)
Stars and scrubs will be a popular strategy once again this week and Cassill's very low price helps to get three top tier drivers in your lineup. He is starting 35th tonight and in six races here at Kentucky, he has finished Top 30 four times and Top 25 twice.
