Welcome to our PrizePicks PGA DFS prop picks for the Charles Schwab Challenge (Round 2). The golf season is in full swing, and PrizePicks has an extensive selection of props for us to take advantage of! PrizePicks is a great DFS props site where you can choose to select plays in terms of fantasy points or singular stats. The goal is to build a 2-player, 3-player, 4-player, or 5-player entry and then select whether or not you want to play for the power play or the flex play. On the power play, you will need to be correct on each of your selections to win, and on the flex play, you will have a little more wiggle room for a chance to win some money back.
Our partners at PrizePicks offer some of the best and easiest-to-win PGA DFS games in the industry. There are no large-field tournaments filled with sharks where you have to get lucky just to place. At PrizePicks, you're not playing against other people, you're just playing against the projections, and the guys at PrizePicks have worked hard to give you really attractive opportunities to make some money. With promo code 'BALLER' you can get a 100% match on your deposit of up to $100.
This week, we're at Colonial Country Club for the Charles Schwab Challenge! Colonial played slightly tougher than expected today with only twenty one players shooting better than -2. I and the entire Rotoballer PGA staff have put out 1,000s of words on the course, key stats, and field this week, so this article won't be focused on the minutiae of projecting outright winners or DFS pivot plays. Instead, I'll be solely focused on a few money-making opportunities I've found in PrizePicks' unique markets to help you build your bankroll as the PGA Tour season gets into full swing! Today's plays are specifically for round two on Friday, May 19th.
Featured Promo: Our friends at PrizePicks are hooking you up. Harris English LESS than 69.0 Strokes
Harris English shot a 5-under 65 today and sits in solo second place. While the score was impressive, how English got there is even more intriguing moving forward. He finished 2nd in the field in strokes gained total, 11th tee to green and 13th putting. The veteran also finished 2nd in driving accuracy on the day, hitting over 85% of fairways.
English had a slow start to 2023, failing to finish better than T73 in any of his first four starts. The slow start was partially expected as English was still recovering from a hip injury that sidelined him for five months. Over the past few months we've seen signs of the old Harris English. Before last week's missed cut at the PGA Championship, he had made six of seven cuts, two if which were top-3 finishes.
If Harris English is back in form as I suspect, the 69.0 number being offered is very generous. English is a four time PGA winner and former Ryder Cup team member. He's one of the more talented players toward the top of the leaderboard and another good finish this week would be huge for his confidence moving forward. I expect Harris to keep it going tomorrow and make a run at this tournament over the weekend.
Michael Block LESS Birdies or Better than Kevin Kisner
Michael Block tugged on America's hearts last week with his terrific performance at the PGA Championship. However, it appears the clock has run out on the Cinderella story. Block finished dead last today, shooting +11. He birdied just two holes and looked overmatched for most of the day.
Kevin Kisner had poor round himself, shooting +4, with only two birdies. Kisner has had a rough year to date and in a normal circumstance I wouldn't be targeting him in any sort of prop or matchup. However, this is more a fade of Block than any kind of respect for Kisner. Block is the worst player in the field by a wide margin and if there is a chance to put an actual PGA Tour player up against him head to head, I'll take the PGA Tour player all day.
Michael Block MORE than 76.5 Strokes
This is a continuation of the very profitable fade Michael Block strategy. As long as Block props are offered, we should continue to fade him in every way possible. Block shot 81 today and it actually probably should have been worse. On hole-16, he had a ball skip out of the water and stay dry. On another hole, his ball happened to land on a bridge.
Block finished 116 out of 120 guys in the field in putting, dead last in strokes gained tee to green, strokes gained around the green and strokes gained total. Looking at his statistics for the day he did virtually nothing well. I don't mean to dunk on the guy or ruin his moment but he's simply overmatched and not good enough to compete.

- Si Woo Kim LESS than 69.0 Strokes
- Min Woo Lee MORE than 3.5 Birdies or Better
