NFL DFS Picks for Week 18 (Sunday Slate)
Before diving into some solid fantasy score totals this week, we must first cover the PrizePicks scoring format. The format is PPR, which stands for "point per reception," meaning every reception is worth one point. Rushing and receiving touchdowns are worth six points and passing touchdowns are worth four points. Each rushing or receiving yard is worth .1, meaning every 10 yards of either is worth one point. Quarterback passing yards are worth .04, which means every 25 passing yards are worth one point. If you ever have questions, you can always click the "scoring chart" option above the player selections for each contest. Now let's get to some solid fantasy score props for this week.
Josh Allen more than 38.5 rushing yards - This is a relatively low total for Josh Allen as he has eclipsed it in 11 games this season and in four of his previous six contests. This is a meaningful game for the Bills as they could still be fighting for the number one overall seed in the AFC and will at least be playing for the two seed and a possible neutral site AFC Championship Game possibility. The Patriots have struggled a bit this season against quarterbacks that can get it done on the ground as they rank in the bottom half of the league in terms of rushing yards allowed to the position.
Allen Lazard more than 49.5 receiving yards - The Packers will be playing for the right to make the playoffs in a win-and-in scenario against the Lions on Sunday and Allen Lazard could be in for a solid day. He has eclipsed this total in three of his last four games and has a solid matchup in this one against the Lions. Over the previous four weeks, Detroit has allowed the second-most receiving yards to the position by allowing an average of nearly 206 yards per game.
Aaron Rodgers more than 1.5 passing touchdowns - This feels like a solid spot for Rodgers at home with his playoff life on the line against a bad Lions' defense. He has thrown two or more touchdowns in nine games this season and will be up against a defense that is tied for the seventh-most passing touchdowns this season. The total in this game is also hovering around 50 points, so a low-key shootout is a possibility.
Other Recommendations: Kenny Pickett more than 17.5 completions, Geno Smith more than 1.5 passing touchdowns
