NFL DFS Picks for Week 9

Before diving into some solid fantasy score totals this week, we must first cover the PrizePicks scoring format. The format is PPR, which stands for "point per reception," meaning every reception is worth one point. Rushing and receiving touchdowns are worth six points and passing touchdowns are worth four points. Each rushing or receiving yard is worth .1, meaning every 10 yards of either is worth one point. Quarterback passing yards are worth .04, which means every 25 passing yards are worth one point. If you ever have questions, you can always click the "scoring chart" option above the player selections for each contest. Now let's get to some solid fantasy score props for this week.

Amon-Ra St. Brown less than 71.5 receiving yards  - St. Brown is certainly capable of eclipsing this total as the top target in Detroit, however, he failed to do so last week in his first game back from injury against the Dolphins' soft secondary. It will not get much easier in this one either, as he is likely to see quite a bit of Jaire Alexander. Aside from Alexander, the Packers' secondary has only allowed wide receivers to average 125 receiving yards per game over the previous four weeks, which ranks in the top half of the league over that span.

Aaron Jones more than 65.5 rushing yards - Jones has gone for more than this total in just two of his previous five games, but the matchup should be right in this one. The Packers will enter this contest as 3.5-point favorites, which should lead to some additional carries, especially considering Allen Lazard is questionable for this game. The Lions have also allowed 5.1 yards per carry to running backs over the previous four weeks. This feels like the perfect spot for Jones to get rolling.

Justin Herbert more than 280.5 passing yards - Herbert has eclipsed this total in three of his previous five contests and will be up against an atrocious Falcons' secondary. Over the last four weeks, Atlanta has allowed the most passing yards to quarterbacks as they have averaged a ridiculous 362 passing yards per game over that span. Herbert may be without Keenan Allen and Mike Williams in this one, but this Atlanta defense just allowed P.J. Walker and the Panthers' passing attack to carve them up for 317 yards through the air. Herbert should be able to fire at will here.

Justin Fields more than 49.5 rushing yards - While the Dolphins have been solid in terms of rushing yards allowed to quarterbacks, Fields and this Bears' gameplan may be too much to contain him here. Over the previous five games, Fields has averaged nearly 68 rushing yards per game while eclipsing this total in four of those five contests. The two times Miami faced rushing quarterbacks in Josh Allen and Lamar Jackson, they allowed them to run for 47 yards and 119 yards, respectively. The Bears will likely come out with a similar game plan as weeks past in this one and Fields should be able to have a solid day on the ground.
