NFL DFS Picks for Week 17
Before diving into some solid fantasy score totals this week, we must first cover the PrizePicks scoring format. The format is PPR, which stands for "point per reception," meaning every reception is worth one point. Rushing and receiving touchdowns are worth six points and passing touchdowns are worth four points. Each rushing or receiving yard is worth .1, meaning every 10 yards of either is worth one point. Quarterback passing yards are worth .04, which means every 25 passing yards are worth one point. If you ever have questions, you can always click the "scoring chart" option above the player selections for each contest. Now let's get to some solid fantasy score props for this week.
Jared Goff more than 245.5 passing yards - Goff and the Lions will have plenty of motivation in this game as they are currently still in the thick of the playoff hunt. He has thrown for more than this total in each of his previous four games while averaging over 319 passing yards per game. He has a solid matchup in this game as well as the Bears as three of the previous seven quarterbacks they have faced have torched them for over 300 passing yards.
Dalvin Cook more than 70.5 rushing yards - Cook and the Vikings will enter Lambeau Field this weekend and will likely look to establish the ground game against a pretty strong Packers pass defense. Over the previous four weeks, Green Bay has allowed the seventh-fewest passing yards to quarterbacks, but has also allowed nearly five yards per carry to the running back position. Cook has averaged nearly 17 carries per game over his previous four games while also eclipsing this total in two of those four games. This should be a great spot for him to get on the right track heading into the playoffs.
Allen Lazard more than 47.5 receiving yards - Lazard and the Packers are fighting for their playoff lives in this game against the Vikings and will have a great opportunity to move the ball through the air. This Vikings defense has allowed the second-most yards to wide receivers behind only the Detroit Lions in 2022. Lazard has been a favorite target of Aaron Rodgers as well as he has averaged six targets per game this season and is fresh off of an 11-target game in which Christian Watson left early. Watson has also failed to practice thus far this week, and if he is absent Sunday, Lazard could be in for a big day,
Christian McCaffrey more than 65.5 rushing yards - McCaffrey has been limited this week, but the expectation is for him to play on Sunday. If he does suit up, he should be in a great spot to get over this rushing prop against a struggling Raiders defense. Over the previous four weeks, the Raiders have allowed the fifth-most rushing yards to backs while also allowing over five yards per carry. CMC has eclipsed this total in three of his previous four games as well. Add in the fact that the Niners are double-digit favorites in this one, and you have a solid recipe for success for McCaffrey,
