Hello everybody and welcome! The 2022 NFL season is moving right along and that means our friends over at PrizePicks have a TON of great DFS plays we can look to take advantage of. PrizePicks is a great DFS site where you can choose to select plays in terms of fantasy points or single stats. The goal is to build a 2-player, 3-player, 4-player, or 5-player entry and then select whether or not you want to play for the power play or the flex play. On the power play, you will need to be correct on each of your selections to win, and on the flex play, you will have a little more wiggle room for a chance to win some money back.
Our partners at PrizePicks offer some of the best and easiest-to-win NFL DFS games in the industry. There are no large-field tournaments filled with sharks where you have to get lucky just to place. At PrizePicks, you're not playing against other people, you're just playing against the projections, and the guys at PrizePicks have worked hard to give you really attractive opportunities to make some money. NFL DFS Picks for Week 16 (Christmas Eve Slate)
Before diving into some solid fantasy score totals this week, we must first cover the PrizePicks scoring format. The format is PPR, which stands for "point per reception," meaning every reception is worth one point. Rushing and receiving touchdowns are worth six points and passing touchdowns are worth four points. Each rushing or receiving yard is worth .1, meaning every 10 yards of either is worth one point. Quarterback passing yards are worth .04, which means every 25 passing yards are worth one point. If you ever have questions, you can always click the "scoring chart" option above the player selections for each contest. Now let's get to some solid fantasy score props for this week.
Derrick Henry more than 105.5 rushing yards - While Henry has his prop set a bit high this week, the number is certainly attainable. Henry has rushed for over 100 yards in each of his previous two games. He will be up against a Texans defense that has allowed the most rushing yards to running backs this season while also allowing them to average over five yards per carry. History also plays a small role in this play as Henry has rushed for over 200 yards in each of his previous four games against the Texans, which is rather ridiculous.
Dalvin Cook more than 73.5 rushing yards - Dalvin Cook's number started at 76.5 and has moved down to 73.5, which was surprising to me in this game. He has gone over this total in two of his previous three games and has a great matchup at home in this one. The Giants have allowed running backs to average nearly 144 rushing yards per game over their previous four games while also allowing them to average nearly 5.5 yards per carry. In other words, they have been getting absolutely gashed on the ground. The Vikings will also enter this game as 4.5-points favorites, which could lead to some additional carries down the stretch for Cook.
Darius Slayton more than 48.5 receiving yards - Slayton has been slept on quite a bit when examining his numbers this season. He has eclipsed this total in three of his previous five games. Although he has failed to reach this total in each of his previous two games, the matchup is great in this one. Minnesota has allowed the second-most yards to wide receivers over the previous four weeks while allowing them to average nearly 220 receiving yards per game. The fact that the Giants are underdogs in this game could also help Slayton in terms of game script.
