PrizePicks Over/Under DFS Props Contests
PrizePicks is a great DFS picks site where you can choose to select plays in terms of fantasy points or single stats. The goal is to build a 2-player, 3-player, 4-player, or 5-player entry and then select whether or not you want to play for the power play or the flex play.
On the power play, you will need to be correct on each of your selections to win, and on the flex play, you will have a little more wiggle room for a chance to win some money back.
Before diving into some solid fantasy score totals this week, we must first cover the PrizePicks scoring format. The format is PPR, which stands for "point per reception," meaning every reception is worth one point.
Rushing and receiving touchdowns are worth six points, and passing touchdowns are worth four points. Each rushing or receiving yard is worth .1, meaning every 10 yards of either is worth one point. Quarterback passing yards are worth .04, which means every 25 passing yards are worth one point.
If you ever have questions, you can always click the "scoring chart" option above the player selections for each contest. Now, let's get to some solid fantasy score props for this week.

A.J. Brown MORE than 88.5 receiving yards
A.J. Brown has a terrific matchup against the Washington Commanders in Week 8. Over the previous four weeks, the Commanders have allowed the second-most total receiving yards to the wide receiver positon. They have also allowed an average of nearly 200 receiving yards per game to the position over that four-game span.
Brown has averaged nearly 12 targets per game over the previous five weeks, so we know the volume will be there. He has also averaged over 140 receiving yards per game across this same span while eclipsing this total in each of those five games. One of those games also happened to be against these Washington Commanders in Week 4 where he hauled in nine receptions for 175 receiving yards.
Dameon Pierce MORE than 52.5 rushing yards
Although Dameon Pierce has only eclipsed this total twice on the season, those two times have come in the previous three games. He has also seen a ton of volume as he has carried the ball an average of over 17 times per game over the previous five weeks. The matchup this week against the Carolina Panthers is also about as good as it gets.
On the season, Carolina has allowed the third-most rushing yards to the running back position while also allowing an average of over 134 rushing yards per game. They have also allowed an average of 5.3 yards per carry to the running back position over the previous four weeks, which is abysmal. Add in the fact that the Texans are favorites in this game, and you have a solid recipe for success with Pierce and his volume here.
Sam Howell MORE than 1.0 passing touchdown
This is a solid play according to the PrizePicks Optimizer as it currently has a 59.35% chance of success. The reason the Optimizer likes it is due to the fact that Howell's actual odds are +138 to throw for over 1.5 passing touchdowns, so we are getting a discount here with the possibility of a push.
Howell has thrown at least one touchdown in all but two games thus far in 2023 and has eclipsed this number in three games. He will be up against the Eagles, who have allowed a total of 12 passing touchdowns to the quarterback position in 2023, which ranks tied for fourth-worst in the league. Howell also faced these Eagles back in Week 4 where he threw for 290 passing yards and one touchdown. This play feels like a push at worst as the Commanders will almost certainly have to move the ball through the air in order to stay competitive in this one.
Kenny Pickett MORE than 218.5 passing yards
Kenny Pickett has eclipsed this total in five of his six games played this season. He will be up against a Jaguars defense that has allowed the second-most passing yards to the quarterback position over the previous four weeks while allowing an average of 295 passing yards per game. Pickett and the Steelers are currently listed as 2.5-point underdogs at home, so we could see an uptick in the passing game if they fall behind in this one.
