PrizePicks is a great DFS picks site where you can choose to select plays in terms of fantasy points or single stats. The goal is to build a 2-player, 3-player, 4-player, or 5-player entry and then select whether or not you want to play for the power play or the flex play.
On the power play, you will need to be correct on each of your selections to win, and on the flex play, you will have a little more wiggle room for a chance to win some money back.
PrizePicks has two types of games. The first type of game is known as Fantasy Score, which consists of selecting various players and trying to determine if they will go over or under their projected fantasy points in a game.
The second game is known as Single Stat which consists of specific props (catches, yards, touchdowns, etc.) in which you determine if the player in question will go over or under their projected total.
You can mix and match players from different types of games in your entry or select all of your plays from the same type of game. Once you have selected your players and props, you can choose the aforementioned flex play or power play option. Let's see what the board offers today!
NFL DFS Props - Over/Under Picks for TNF
Kirk Cousins MORE than 262.5 passing yards
Cousins is coming off of a 344 passing-yard day against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 1 and will likely look to be throwing early and often again this week against the Eagles. While the Eagles were ranked second in 2022 in terms of passing yards per game allowed, they just gave up 316 passing yards to Mac Jones.
While I do not want to buy into one week too much, this is a game where the Vikings are seven-point underdogs and will likely have to throw the ball quite a bit in order to keep pace with this high-powered Eagles offense.
A.J. Brown MORE than 73.5 receiving yards
This number will likely rise leading up to kickoff, especially with Brown coming off of a 127-yard receiving day in Week 1. Now, he will be up against a Vikings defense that allowed the most receiving yards to wide receivers in 2022 by allowing an average of 192 receiving yards per game. This is also a number that Brown eclipsed in nine regular season games in 2022.
Jalen Hurts LESS than 45.5 rushing yards
Hurts is more than capable of rushing for more than this total; however, he likely will not have to in this game. Minnesota struggled mightily against the pass in 2022 as they allowed the most receiving yards to wide receivers as well as the second-most passing yards to the quarterback position by allowing an average of nearly 280 yards per game. This feels like a spot where the Eagles' offense can move the ball through the air and protect Hurts a bit by not running him as often.
The Eagles being seven-point favorites in this game could also lead to more rushing attempts by the running backs late in the game, which would also hinder Hurts' chances of eclipsing this total. This will likely be a popular prop leading up to kickoff, so waiting for the number to rise could also be a wise move.
Greg Joseph MORE than 5.5 kicking points
This is a different kind of prop that could be fun in this game. We are basically looking for two field goals as three touchdowns and a field goal from the Vikings' offense might be a stretch to ask for. The Eagles have a tough defense that can give up a few big plays as noted by their performance last week against New England.
By most barometers, this Vikings offense should be better than the offense of the Patriots. It is feasible that the Vikings are able to move the ball enough to get into field goal range on multiple occasions, but possibly not put the ball in the end zone. If this ends up being the case, Joseph has a solid shot of booting two through the uprights. Joseph is a solidly accurate kicker as well as noted by the fact that he hit 26 of 33 kicks in 2022, four of which came from 50+ yards.
Note: This number recently moved to 6.0, and then was taken off the board. Keep an eye out leading up to kickoff to see if it returns.
Other Recommendations: T.J. Hockenson more than 5.0 receptions
