PrizePicks is a great DFS picks site where you can choose to select plays in terms of fantasy points or single stats. The goal is to build a 2-player, 3-player, 4-player, or 5-player entry and then select whether or not you want to play for the power play or the flex play.
On the power play, you will need to be correct on each of your selections to win, and on the flex play, you will have a little more wiggle room for a chance to win some money back.
PrizePicks has two types of games. The first type of game is known as Fantasy Score, which consists of selecting various players and trying to determine if they will go over or under their projected fantasy points in a game.
The second game is known as Single Stat which consists of specific props (catches, yards, touchdowns, etc.) in which you determine if the player in question will go over or under their projected total.
You can mix and match players from different types of games in your entry or select all of your plays from the same type of game. Once you have selected your players and props, you can choose the aforementioned flex play or power play option. Let's see what the board offers today!
NFL DFS Props - Over/Under Picks for TNF
Derek Carr MORE than 239.5 passing yards
Although this is a number Derek Carr has hit only once this season, he has a tremendous matchup in this one against the Jacksonville Jaguars. Over the first six weeks of the season, Jacksonville has allowed a whopping 281 passing yards per game to the quarterback position. They have especially struggled against pass-catching running backs as they have allowed the sixth-most total receiving yards to the running back position to begin the season, which means Alvin Kamara should be in a good spot as well.
Jacksonville has also been superb against the running back position in terms of rushing yards allowed. Through the first six weeks of the season, the Jaguars have allowed an average of just 57 rushing yards per game to the running back position. This Jaguars' defense is the definition of a pass funnel, and Carr should be able to take advantage of them in this matchup.
Michael Thomas MORE than 52.5 receiving yards
You can pair Carr up with Michael Thomas, Chris Olave, or Alvin Kamara in this matchup and feel pretty good about it, but Thomas has been a favorite target of Carr so we will look his way in this one. Through the first six weeks of the season, Thomas has averaged nearly eight targets per game while totaling at least 55 receiving yards in three total games.
Thomas will be up against a Jaguars' defense that has allowed a total of 1,000 receiving yards to the wide receiver position, which ranks fifth-worst in the league. The Jaguars have also allowed seven total wide receivers to eclipse this number through their first six games played.
Christian Kirk MORE than 51.5 receiving yards
The biggest factor for this play likely comes down to whether or not Trevor Lawrence is healthy enough to suit up. He has a slightly sprained knee, but said he is going to try to give it a go, so if that is the case, Kirk should be in a solid spot. He will line up in the slot where he will likely avoid Marshon Lattimore as Lattimore will focus much of his attention on Calvin Ridley.
The number-two wide receiver against the Saints has eclipsed this total in four of six games this season. Kirk has also garnered over nine targets per game in the previous five weeks and has eclipsed this total in four of those five games. The Jags are currently listed as slight dogs in this game as well, which could lead to some extra targets for Kirk.
