PrizePicks is a great DFS picks site where you can choose to select plays in terms of fantasy points or single stats. The goal is to build a 2-player, 3-player, 4-player, or 5-player entry and then select whether or not you want to play for the power play or the flex play.
On the power play, you will need to be correct on each of your selections to win, and on the flex play, you will have a little more wiggle room for a chance to win some money back.
PrizePicks has two types of games. The first type of game is known as Fantasy Score, which consists of selecting various players and trying to determine if they will go over or under their projected fantasy points in a game.
The second game is known as Single Stat which consists of specific props (catches, yards, touchdowns, etc.) in which you determine if the player in question will go over or under their projected total.
You can mix and match players from different types of games in your entry or select all of your plays from the same type of game. Once you have selected your players and props, you can choose the aforementioned flex play or power play option. Let's see what the board offers today!
NFL DFS Props - Over/Under Picks for TNF
Christian McCaffrey MORE than 83.5 rushing yards
Christian McCaffrey has carried the ball 42 times through his first two games while amassing 246 rushing yards. He is the no-doubt lead back in San Franciso with no competition for carries. This spot on Thursday night is a terrific place for him to eclipse this prop total.
Through the first two weeks of the season, the Giants have allowed 212 rushing yards to the running back position, which is currently ranked sixth-worst in the league. They have also allowed an average of over four yards per carry to the position. The 49ers will enter this game as double-digit favorites, which should lead to some additional carries for McCaffrey late in the game as well.
Darren Waller MORE than 50.5 receiving yards
The initial look at this play says to take the under as the 49ers have only allowed a total of 34 receiving yards on six receptions to the tight end position. That being said, the 49ers have not faced a tight end as dynamic as Waller thus far in 2023, and he could certainly cause some trouble for them in this one.
Waller has caught nine of 13 targets in 2023 for a combined 112 receiving yards in his two games. Last week against Arizona, Waller seemed to hit his stride when he hauled in six of eight targets for 76 yards. The Giants are also not deep on the depth chart when it comes to pass catchers, so Waller will almost certainly be a focal point for Daniel Jones in this game. As aforementioned, the Giants are heavy underdogs in this game. That means Jones will likely have to move the ball through the air frequently, and Waller figures to be a large beneficiary of many of those targets.
Brock Purdy LESS than 222.5 passing yards
Brock Purdy has yet to eclipse this number in 2023 as he has thrown for 202 passing yards and 206 passing yards in Weeks 1 and 2, respectively. To be honest, Purdy has not needed to throw the ball much as the ground game has been superb as noted above with Christian McCaffrey's stat lines. It is not likely he will need to throw the ball much in this one either as the Niners will enter as huge favorites and the Giants have been suspect against the run.
This feels like another spot where San Francisco can come out and pound the rock in order to get the job done as it is not likely that the Giants will put enough pressure on them to have to open up the passing game. For what it is worth, the Giants have also been relatively decent against the pass to begin the 2023 campaign as they have allowed an average of just 186 passing yards per game.
