Hello everybody and welcome! The 2021 NFL season is finally underway and that means our new friends over at PrizePicks have a TON of great props we can look to take advantage of. PrizePicks is a great DFS props site where you can choose to select plays in terms of fantasy points or single stats. The goal is to build a 2-player, 3-player, 4-player, or 5-player entry and then select whether or not you want to play for the power play or the flex play. On the power play, you will need to be correct on each of your selections to win, and on the flex play, you will have a little more wiggle room for a chance to win some money back.
Our partners at PrizePicks offer some of the best and easiest to win NFL DFS games in the industry. There are no large-field tournaments filled with sharks where you have to get lucky just to place. At PrizePicks, you're not playing against other people, you're just playing against the projections, and the guys at PrizePicks have worked hard to give you really attractive opportunities to make some money. With promo code 'BALLER' you can get a 100% match on your deposit up to $100.
PrizePicks has two types of games. The first type of game is known as Fantasy Score, which consists of selecting various players and trying to determine if they will go over or under their projected fantasy points in a game. The second game is known as Single Stat. For NFL, Single Stat consists of quarterback passing yards, running back rushing yards, and wide receiver receiving yards in which you determine if the player in question will go over or under their projected total. You can mix and match players from each type of game in your entry or select all of your plays from the same type of game. Once you have selected your players and props, you can choose the aforementioned flex play or power play option. Today, we will look at some props for the Monday night opener between the Baltimore Ravens and Las Vegas Raiders.

Fantasy Score NFL Totals and Single-Stat Totals
Before diving into some solid fantasy score totals this week, we must first cover the PrizePicks scoring format. The format is PPR, which stands for point per reception, meaning every reception is worth one point. Rushing and receiving touchdowns are worth six points and passing touchdowns are worth four points. Each rushing or receiving yard is worth .1, meaning every 10 yards of either is worth one point. Quarterback passing yards are worth .04, which means every 25 passing yards are worth one point. If you ever have questions, you can always click the "scoring chart" option above the player selections for each contest. Now let's get to some solid fantasy score props for this week.
T.J. Hockenson over 5.0 receptions - The Packers have a tough pass defense, but they did allow 102 targets to tight ends in 2020, which could mean good things for Hockenson in this one. Last week, Hockenson was the most targeted Lions receiver as Jared Goff looked his way 11 times. He managed to haul in eight receptions for 97 yards and a touchdown as well as a two-point conversion. Given that the Packers are 12-point favorites in this one. the Lions could be forced to throw more and Hockenson would likely be the beneficiary of several additional targets.
Marquez Valdes-Scantling over 3.0 receptions - Valdes-Scantling is the number two wide receiver in this offense and it showed last week as he was targeted eight times against the New Orleans Saints. He will be going up against Lions cornerback, Jeff Okudah, who gave up a ridiculous 31.9 fantasy points to 49ers wide receivers a week ago. Valdes-Scantling should be locked in as the number two target this week and should be able to get over three receptions.
Aaron Rodgers over 279.5 passing yards - While I do not think Aaron Rodgers will be required to throw for nearly 300 passing yards in this game, I think he is absolutely angry about last week's performance against the Saints and will take it out on this Lions Defense at home on Monday night. The Lions allowed Jimmy G to throw up 314 passing yards against them last week and in 2020, they ranked third-worst in terms of passing yards per game allowed to the quarterback position. In 2020, they also allowed Aaron Rodgers to throw for 530 yards across two games. Look for the Packers to come out throwing it in this one and attacking a very weak Lions secondary.
Davante Adams over 22.5 fantasy score - Adams, like Rodgers, is going to want to get back on track in this one after hauling in just five receptions against the Saints last week and he should certainly be able to do it against this Lions Defense. Adams averaged over nine targets per game in 2020 and hauled in 18 touchdowns on the season. In 2020, these Lions allowed wide receivers to go off for over 206 receiving yards per game, 15 receptions per game, and a total of 19 touchdowns. In his most recent game against these Lions, Adams hauled in seven of 10 targets for 11 yards and a touchdown. A similar if not better performance could certainly be in store tonight.
Other Recommendations: Aaron Jones over .5 rushing touchdowns, Davante Adams over 85.5 receiving yards, D'Andre Swift over 40.5 rushing yards, Aaron Rodgers over 23.0 fantasy score
Overall recommendation for this play: FLEX
