PrizePicks Over/Under DFS Props Contests

PrizePicks is a great DFS picks site where you can choose to select plays in terms of fantasy points or single stats. The goal is to build a 2-player, 3-player, 4-player, or 5-player entry and then select whether or not you want to play for the power play or the flex play.

On the power play, you will need to be correct on each of your selections to win, and on the flex play, you will have a little more wiggle room for a chance to win some money back.

Before diving into some solid fantasy score totals this week, we must first cover the PrizePicks scoring format. The format is PPR, which stands for "point per reception," meaning every reception is worth one point.

Rushing and receiving touchdowns are worth six points, and passing touchdowns are worth four points. Each rushing or receiving yard is worth .1, meaning every 10 yards of either is worth one point. Quarterback passing yards are worth .04, which means every 25 passing yards are worth one point.

Before diving into some solid prop totals this week, we must first cover the PrizePicks scoring format. Nick Chubb MORE than 75.5 rushing yards

The Browns vs. Steelers game screams of a low-scoring, prize fight type of game where both teams could look to establish the run early. This is great news for Nick Chubb as he will be up against a Steelers defense that allowed 162 rushing yards to the 49ers running backs in Week 1, which was the fourth-most allowed to the position to begin the season by any team.

Nick Chubb carried the ball 18 times for 106 rushing yards in Week 1 against a Bengals team that was thought to be tough against the run heading into 2023, so this matchup should treat him well against the Steelers. Chubb managed to rush for at least 80 yards in all but five games in 2023, including one of his two games against the Steelers. That being said, he still managed to eclipse this total in that second game against Pittsburgh as he rushed for 77 yards on just 12 carries in Week 18.

David Njoku MORE than 28.5 receiving yards

Pittsburgh was tough against George Kittle and the 49ers tight ends a week ago as they allowed just three receptions totaling 19 receiving yards. That being said, they were not so strong in 2022 when they allowed an average of 55 receiving yards per game to tight ends, which ranked ninth-worst in the NFL.

Njoku managed to eclipse this total in nine of 14 games in 2022. While he saw only three targets in Week 1, we could expect this number to increase a bit against a defense that has shown vulnerabilities against the position. Especially when you consider he hauled in 13 balls for 131 receiving yards in two games against the Steelers a season ago.

Jamaal Williams MORE than 52.5 rushing yards

Jamaal Williams is the feature back in New Orleans until Alvin Kamara returns from his suspension in Week 4. That was made evident in Week 1 when he carried the ball 18 times. Although he only managed 45 rushing yards, he went up against a tough Tennessee Titans front. That will not be the case this week in Carolina.

In Week 1, the Panthers allowed the Atlanta Falcons running backs to run all over them. The Falcons carried the ball 25 times and racked up 131 rushing yards, which comes out to roughly 5.3 yards per carry. The Saints will enter this game as three-point favorites, which could lead to some additional carries down the stretch for Williams.

Bryce Young LESS than 196.5 passing yards

Bryce Young had a rough game in his NFL debut as he completed just 53% of his passes for 146 passing yards. This week, he will be up against a Saints defense that allowed the fewest passing yards per game (200) to the quarterback position. While Young will likely continue to improve as the season moves along, this just is not the right spot for him. Last week, the Saints allowed Ryan Tannehill to throw for just 198 passing yards in a game they were trailing most of the way.

The only real concern here is that the Panthers get down by two scores early and are forced into throwing the ball more with Young than they had planned. That being said, the spread on this game is only three points, which means that it could be relatively close throughout with the Saints pulling away at the end.
