Welcome to our PrizePicks NBA DFS prop picks for Friday, April 28th, 2023. The 2022-2023 NBA season is rolling along, and our friends over at PrizePicks still have a TON of great props we can look to take advantage of.
PrizePicks is a great DFS props site where you can choose to select plays in terms of fantasy points or single stats. The goal is to build a 2-player, 3-player, 4-player, or 5-player entry and then select whether or not you want to play for the power play or the flex play. On the power play, you will need to be correct on each of your selections to win, and on the flex play, you will have a little more wiggle room for a chance to win some money back.
At PrizePicks, you're not playing against other people, you're just playing against the projections, and the guys at PrizePicks have worked hard to give you really attractive opportunities to make some money.

PrizePicks Over/Under DFS Props Contests
PrizePicks has two types of games. The first type of game is known as Fantasy Score, which consists of selecting various players and trying to determine if they will go over or under their projected fantasy points in a game.
The second game is known as Single Stat. For NBA, Single Stat consists of points, rebounds, assists, three-pointers made, and free throws made, in which you determine if the player in question will go over or under their projected total.
You can mix and match players from different types of games in your entry, or select all of your plays from the same type of game. Once you have selected your players and props, you can choose the aforementioned flex play or power play option.

Harrison Barnes UNDER 4.0 Rebounds
Harrison Barnes hit this over in the first two games of the series and has failed to grab more than three rebounds since. The Kings are starting to flail now that they’ve lost three straight and Barnes will be stuck fighting for rebounds in a tightly packed paint.
He can’t compete with Kevon Looney or Draymond Green and he’ll need to stick to the strategy of boxing out, something he’s not great at, while players like Keegan Murray and Domantas Sabonis can attack the ball.
Even with an excess of shots, Barnes is more of a situational rebounder and lets the ball come to him. The potential for an NBA player to grab five rebounds in any game is extremely high, but this particular NBA player doesn’t seem to care about rebounding.
Klay Thompson OVER 23.5 Points
If typing ‘Game 6 Klay’ was sufficient and I was sure I wouldn’t get in trouble, I’d leave it at that and move on to Anthony Davis.
That being said, there has only been one game where Klay Thompson came up significantly short of a 23.5-point projection this series and the Warriors still pulled out a win. The only explanation being that he, like everyone else, is susceptible to bad nights.
He’s put up 20 points in four of five games against the Kings already and it’s not like he won’t take upwards of 15 shots tonight. The potential will always be there and 'Game 6 Klay' isn’t so much a fluke anymore.
Anthony Davis OVER 2.5 Assists
Despite the props favoring the under here, assists are entirely dependent on other players finishing your possession. Just because Anthony Davis doesn’t accumulate a lot of assists nightly doesn’t mean he isn’t passing or doesn’t have quality assist potential.
Compared to other players during these playoffs, Davis has passed almost as much as Giannis Antetokounmpo and Jimmy Butler with more passes than Bam Adebayo, Devin Booker, and Marcus Smart. Since he’s generating around 3.4 potential assists each game, double-teams and increased defensive efforts focused on him are going to multiply that potential.
With Memphis still playing with their backs against the wall, there is a good chance they are going to keep the pressure and focus on making sure Anthony Davis isn’t the one that beats them.
