PrizePicks Over/Under DFS Props Contests
PrizePicks has two types of games. The first type of game is known as Fantasy Score, which consists of selecting various players and trying to determine if they will go over or under their projected fantasy points in a game.
The second game is known as Single Stat. For the MLB, Single Stat consists of pitcher strikeout props in which you determine if the pitcher in question will go over or under their projected strikeout total.
You can mix and match players from different types of games in your entry or select all of your plays from the same type of game. Once you have selected your players and props, you can choose the aforementioned flex play or power play option. Let's see what the board offers today!

Bailey Ober more than 5.0 strikeouts
Ober has struck out five or more in all but five starts this season. He also faced these Tigers back on June 25th in Detroit and managed to mow down eight of them across six innings pitched. Over the previous three weeks, Detroit is posting the 13th-highest k rate vs. right-handers with a rate of nearly 24%. Ober has also been solid on the road as noted by his 9.8 K/9 mark compared to his 7.7 K/9 mark at home.
Cristian Javier more than 4.5 strikeouts
Javier will be up against a tough offense in the Baltimore Orioles, however, they are posting the sixth-highest K rate vs. right-handers over the previous three weeks with a rate of 27.1%. Javier has struck out five or more in three of his previous four starts and has been respectable in terms of strikeouts on the road as noted by his 8.8 K/9 mark.
MacKenzie Gore more than 6.0 strikeouts
Gore has plenty of strikeout potential as he has struck out seven or more batters in eight total starts in 2023. The matchup tonight is against the Phillies, who are posting a 28.1% K rate vs. Southpaws over the previous three weeks, which ranks sixth-worst in baseball. Gore will be on the road in this one where he has posted a 10.7 K/9 compared to a 9.9 mark at home.
Max Fried more than 5.0 strikeouts
Fried looked great in his most recent start after returning from the IL as he struck out eight Cubs across six innings pitched. Tonight, he will be up against the Pirates, who are posting the 12th-highest K rate vs. Southpaws over the previous three weeks with a rate of 23.2%. The Pirates are also struggling offensively against left-handers over that same span as noted by their 70 wRC+ mark. Fried has made six total starts in 2023 and only failed to reach this total in two of them while eclipsing it in three starts.
