PrizePicks Over/Under DFS Props Contests
PrizePicks has two types of games. The first type of game is known as Fantasy Score, which consists of selecting various players and trying to determine if they will go over or under their projected fantasy points in a game.
The second game is known as Single Stat. For the MLB, Single Stat consists of pitcher strikeout props in which you determine if the pitcher in question will go over or under their projected strikeout total.
You can mix and match players from different types of games in your entry or select all of your plays from the same type of game. Once you have selected your players and props, you can choose the aforementioned flex play or power play option. Let's see what the board offers today!

Tarik Skubal more than 6.0 strikeouts
We are going to start with a bit of a dicey prop as Skubal has struck out seven or more in just two of his previous five starts, however, one of those starts was his most recent start against the Guardians, and he has a solid matchup in a day game (you know I love day games) against the Cubs. Over the previous three weeks, the Cubs have posted the seventh-highest K rate against left-handers with a rate of 27.4%. They are also posting a lackluster wRC+ mark of just 78 and a walk rate of just 6% over this same span.
Michael Kopech less than 5.0 strikeouts
This number just dropped from 5.5 to 5.0 prior to this write-up, so apologies for the late notice. Kopech has only eclipsed this total in one of his previous 11 starts and will be up against a tough offense in the Mariners today. Over the previous three weeks, Seattle is posting a wRC+ mark of 138 vs. right-handers and are also posting a walk rate just below 10%. The walk rate should be especially concerning for Kopech as he has walked at least four batters in seven of his previous eight starts, which will certainly rack his pitch count up and reduce his opportunities for strikeouts.
Jose Urquidy less than 5.0 strikeouts
Urquidy is not known as a high-strikeout pitcher as he has struck out five or more just once in his previous seven games. The matchup against Boston should be a tough one as well as Boston is currently posting the sixth-best K rate vs. right-handers over the previous three weeks with a rate of just 19.9%. They are also posting a 104 wRC+ mark over that same span, which could get Urquidy into trouble as he has allowed four or more earned runs in three of his previous six starts.
