Welcome to our PrizePicks MLB DFS prop picks for Tuesday, June 13, 2023. The 2023 MLB season is underway here at RotoBaller, and we have you covered with some terrific plays from our friends over at PrizePicks.
PrizePicks is a great DFS fantasy picks site where you can choose to select plays in terms of fantasy points or single stats. The goal is to build a 2-player, 3-player, 4-player, or 5-player entry and then select whether or not you want to play for the power play or the flex play. On the power play, you will need to be correct on each of your selections to win, and on the flex play, you will have a little more wiggle room for a chance to win some money back. At PrizePicks, you're not playing against other people, you're just playing against the projections, and the guys at PrizePicks have worked hard to give you really attractive opportunities to make some money.
Announcement: We have two awesome new Props Optimizers for the MLB, NBA, NFL, NHL, and NCAA! The PrizePicks Optimizer and Prop Bets Optimizer are both available in our new Props Premium Package, which includes exclusive access to RotoBaller's VIP Discord chat rooms for props and betting.
PrizePicks Over/Under DFS Props Contests
PrizePicks has two types of games. The first type of game is known as Fantasy Score, which consists of selecting various players and trying to determine if they will go over or under their projected fantasy points in a game.
The second game is known as Single Stat. For the MLB, Single Stat consists of pitcher strikeout props in which you determine if the pitcher in question will go over or under their projected strikeout total.
You can mix and match players from different types of games in your entry or select all of your plays from the same type of game. Once you have selected your players and props, you can choose the aforementioned flex play or power play option. Let's see what the board offers today!

Spencer Strider more than 9.5 strikeouts
This number may seem a tad high, but it is for good reason. Strider has struck out at least 10 in four starts this season and has flirted with 10 in four other starts. He has a tremendous matchup as well vs. the Tigers as they have posted the second-highest k rate vs. right-handers over the previous two weeks with a rate of 29%. They are also posting just a 7.6% walk rate and 64 wRC+ over this same span, both of which are ranked near the bottom of the league.
Corbin Burnes more than 7.0 strikeouts
Burnes has come on strong recently as he has struck out seven or more in five of his previous six starts. The matchup he has against the Twins tonight is a fantastic one as well. Over the previous two weeks, Minnesota is posting the highest K rate against right-handers with a rate of 30.7%. This is not a recent climb for the Twins, either, as they have been atop the K charts for weeks. They are also posting a lackluster walk rate (8%) and wRC+ mark (84).
Tanner Bibee more than 5.0 strikeouts
Bibee has been rolling along as he has struck out five or more in three of his previous five starts while not allowing more than three earned runs (once) across those five starts. he has a relatively decent matchup against the Padres, who have been moving all over the strikeout charts in recent weeks. Currently, against right-handers, they are sitting at a rate of 20.8%. This should be a good spot in a well-known pitchers' park for Bibee to rip off six strikeouts.
Pablo Lopez more than 7.0 strikeouts
In full disclosure, this prop is a tad risky as Lopez has only managed to strike out eight batters in one of his previous five starts, but he has done it six times on the season. This is certainly a matchup where he could do it again. The Brewers are posting a K rate of 25.8% vs. right-handers over the previous two weeks, which ranks second-worst in baseball. They are also posting a below-average wRC+ mark of 74 over that same span. Lopez has also posted a solid 10.7 K/9 at home on the season, which certainly works in his favor.
Other Recommendations: Edward Cabrera more than 6.5 strikeouts (monitor the news today on the blister that caused him to leave his most recent start)
