PrizePicks Over/Under DFS Props Contests

PrizePicks has two types of games. The first type of game is known as Fantasy Score, which consists of selecting various players and trying to determine if they will go over or under their projected fantasy points in a game.

The second game is known as Single Stat. For the MLB, Single Stat consists of pitcher strikeout props in which you determine if the pitcher in question will go over or under their projected strikeout total.

You can mix and match players from different types of games in your entry or select all of your plays from the same type of game. Once you have selected your players and props, you can choose the aforementioned flex play or power play option. Let's see what the board offers today!

Corbin Burnes MORE than 6.5 strikeouts

Corbin Burnes has been rolling lately as he has now struck out seven or more batters in five of his previous seven starts. He will be up against a Cardinals' team that has fluctuated in terms of K rate vs. right-handers all season, and while their rate over the previous three weeks is only 20.3%, this should be high enough for Burnes to eclipse this total. Burnes is also the top prop on the PirzePicks Optimer this morning with a 54.06% chance of hitting.

Jesus LuzardoMORE than 6.0 strikeouts

Jesus Luzardo has matched or eclipsed this total in four of his previous six starts. He will be up against the New York Mets, who have posted a 24.9% K rate vs. left-handers over the previous three weeks, which ranks 11th-worst in baseball. The Mets have also posted a sub-100 wRC mark and a sub-8% walk rate over this same span. Add in the fact that Luzardo has posted a 10.0 K/9 mark on the road this season and you have several factors working in favor of this play.

Luis Medina MORE than 4.5 strikeouts

Luis Medina will be up against the Minnesota Twins today, and although they have been better against the strikeout lately, this team still ranks dead last on the season with a 27.2% K rate vs. right-handed pitchers. Medina has struck out at least five batters in each of his previous two starts as he has totaled 12 strikeouts across 8 2/3 innings pitched. He will also be on the road in this one where he has posted a 9.3 K/9 mark compared to an 8.5 mark at home.
