Welcome to our PrizePicks MLB DFS prop picks for Thursday, June 15, 2023. The 2023 MLB season is underway here at RotoBaller, and we have you covered with some terrific plays from our friends over at PrizePicks.
PrizePicks is a great DFS fantasy picks site where you can choose to select plays in terms of fantasy points or single stats. The goal is to build a 2-player, 3-player, 4-player, or 5-player entry and then select whether or not you want to play for the power play or the flex play. On the power play, you will need to be correct on each of your selections to win, and on the flex play, you will have a little more wiggle room for a chance to win some money back. At PrizePicks, you're not playing against other people, you're just playing against the projections, and the guys at PrizePicks have worked hard to give you really attractive opportunities to make some money.
Announcement: We have two awesome new Props Optimizers for the MLB, NBA, NFL, NHL, and NCAA! The PrizePicks Optimizer and Prop Bets Optimizer are both available in our new Props Premium Package, which includes exclusive access to RotoBaller's VIP Discord chat rooms for props and betting.
PrizePicks Over/Under DFS Props Contests
PrizePicks has two types of games. The first type of game is known as Fantasy Score, which consists of selecting various players and trying to determine if they will go over or under their projected fantasy points in a game.
The second game is known as Single Stat. For the MLB, Single Stat consists of pitcher strikeout props in which you determine if the pitcher in question will go over or under their projected strikeout total.
You can mix and match players from different types of games in your entry or select all of your plays from the same type of game. Once you have selected your players and props, you can choose the aforementioned flex play or power play option. Let's see what the board offers today!

Tyler Wells more than 4.5 strikeouts
Wells has been superb as he has struck out at least five batters in five of his previous six starts. He has a tough matchup against the Blue Jays, but their 20.1% K rate vs. right-handers over the previous two weeks should be just enough for Wells to get over the hump here. Wells has also posted a solid 9.1 K/9 at home on the season compared to his 8.5 rate on the road.
Yusei Kikuchi less than 5.5 strikeouts
Kikuchi has struck out six or more just twice in his previous eight starts. He will be on the road against the Orioles where he has posted just a 7.3 K/9 compared to a 10.4 K/9 at home. Kikuchi has also faced these Orioles once this season back on May 9th where he struck out just three batters across 4 2/3 innings pitched.
Paul Blackburn more than 4.5 strikeouts
This could be a tad dicey, but Blackburn has struck out at least five in two of his first three starts since making his debut back on May 29th. He is also fully stretched out after having thrown 95 pitches in his most recent outing, which certainly works in his favor. The matchup against the Rays is also solid in terms of strikeout potential as they are posting the sixth-highest K rate vs. right-handers over the previous two weeks with a rate of 24.3%.
Other Recommendations: Dylan Cease more than 5.5 strikeouts
