PrizePicks Over/Under DFS Props Contests
PrizePicks has two types of games. The first type of game is known as Fantasy Score, which consists of selecting various players and trying to determine if they will go over or under their projected fantasy points in a game.
The second game is known as Single Stat. For the MLB, Single Stat consists of pitcher strikeout props in which you determine if the pitcher in question will go over or under their projected strikeout total.
You can mix and match players from different types of games in your entry or select all of your plays from the same type of game. Once you have selected your players and props, you can choose the aforementioned flex play or power play option. Let's see what the board offers today!

Kyle Gibson more than 4.5 strikeouts
I typically do not look toward Gibson when selecting K props, but the matchup here cannot be ignored. The Pirates have been struggling quite a bit in recent weeks, so Gibson has a real shot at hitting this mark today. Over the previous two weeks, the Pirates have posted the highest K rate in baseball against right-handed pitchers with a rate north of 30%. They have also posted an abysmal wRC+ mark of just 42 over this same span.
Joey Wentz more than 4.5 strikeouts
Wentz has struck out five or more batters in three of his previous five starts and has a solid matchup today against Seattle. Over the previous two weeks, the Mariners have posted a K rate of 28.2% vs. Southpaws, which ranks fourth-worst in the league over that span. Five of the previous six left-handed starters the Mariners have faced have eclipsed this total as well.
Tony Gonsolin more than 4.5 strikeouts
Gonsolin has made three starts in 2023 and has increased his pitch count in each one. He is fresh off of an 80-pitch, six-strikeout performance against the Milwaukee Brewers and will now have a matchup against the Padres. Over the previous two weeks, San Diego has posted the sixth-highest K rate vs. right-handers with a rate of 24.6%. They have also paired this with a lackluster 80 wRC+ mark.
Willy Adames more than 7.0 hitter fantasy score
Adames has been cruising over the previous week as he has posted an .877 OPS with 11 combined runs + RBI. He will be up against Royals' right-hander Jordan Lyles. Since 2021, Lyles has allowed a .284 BAA to right-handed hitters with 44 home runs and 55 doubles. Adames has also done well against right-handed pitchers since 2021 as he has posted an .805 OPS against them compared to a .709 against left-handed pitching.
