PrizePicks Over/Under DFS Props Contests

PrizePicks has two types of games. The first type of game is known as Fantasy Score, which consists of selecting various players and trying to determine if they will go over or under their projected fantasy points in a game.

The second game is known as Single Stat. For the MLB, Single Stat consists of pitcher strikeout props in which you determine if the pitcher in question will go over or under their projected strikeout total.

You can mix and match players from different types of games in your entry or select all of your plays from the same type of game. Once you have selected your players and props, you can choose the aforementioned flex play or power play option. Let's see what the board offers today!

Cole Ragans more than 6.0 strikeouts

Cole Ragans has looked sharp in recent starts as he has now struck out at least eight batters in five of his previous six starts. He will be up against the White Sox today, who are posting a K rate of 25.3% vs. left-handers over the previous three weeks, which ranks the fifth-worst in baseball. The White Sox are also posting just a 5.3% walk rate over this same span, which should help Ragans as he has walked two or more batters in three of his previous seven starts.

Justin Steele more than 5.5 strikeouts

This number is not going to last long and may be gone before I hit the publish button on this article, so act fast when you see this. Justin Steele has struck out at least six batters in eight of his previous nine starts. He will be up against the Giants today, who are posting the highest K rate against left-handers over the previous three weeks with a rate of 26.7% while pairing this with a sub-100 wRC+ mark.

Merrill Kelly less than 7.0 strikeouts

This could get a bit dicey as Merrill Kelly has shown the ability to punch out guys at a high rate as noted by his 12 strikeouts against the Reds two starts ago. That being said, Kelly has only eclipsed this number in seven total starts on the season. The Rockies are posting the fifth-highest K rate against right-handers over the previous three weeks; however, only three of the previous eight right-handed starting pitchers they have faced have eclipsed this total.
