PrizePicks Over/Under DFS Props Contests

PrizePicks has two types of games. The first type of game is known as Fantasy Score, which consists of selecting various players and trying to determine if they will go over or under their projected fantasy points in a game.

The second game is known as Single Stat. For the MLB, Single Stat consists of pitcher strikeout props in which you determine if the pitcher in question will go over or under their projected strikeout total.

You can mix and match players from different types of games in your entry or select all of your plays from the same type of game. Once you have selected your players and props, you can choose the aforementioned flex play or power play option. Let's see what the board offers today!

Cal Quantrill less than 3.5 strikeouts

Cal Quantrill has failed to strike out four batters in six of his previous seven starts dating back to May 24. He will be up against the Royals tonight, who are posting a 22.2% K rate vs. right-handers over the previous three weeks, which ranks in the top half of baseball over that span. They are also posting a 9% walk rate and a wRC+ near 100 over this same span, which should cause Qunatrill some issues as he has walked eight batters over his last 18 innings pitched.

Edward Cabrera more than 5.5 strikeouts

Edward Cabrera has struck out 13 batters over his last 8 2/3 innings pitched since coming off of the IL on September 6. He will be up against the Mets tonight, who are posting a K rate of 24.3% vs. right-handers over the previous three weeks, which ranks 10th-worst in baseball over that span. This game will also be in Miami where Cabrera has posted a spectacular 2.61 ERA and 12.6 K/9 mark, both of which are better than his road splits.

Bryan Woo more than 5.5 strikeouts

Bryan Woo will be up against the Oakland Athletics tonight, who are posting a 26% K rate vs. right-handers over the previous three weeks, which ranks fourth-worst in baseball over that span. Woo has struck out at least six batters in seven of his 15 starts this season, including an eight-strikeout performance against the Los Angeles Angels in his most recent start.
