Welcome to our PrizePicks MLB DFS prop picks for Monday, October 30, 2023. The 2023 MLB World Series is underway here at RotoBaller, and we have you covered with some terrific plays from our friends over at PrizePicks.
PrizePicks is a great DFS fantasy picks site where you can choose to select plays in terms of fantasy points or single stats. The goal is to build a 2-player, 3-player, 4-player, or 5-player entry and then select whether or not you want to play for the power play or the flex play.
On the power play, you will need to be correct on each of your selections to win, and on the flex play, you will have a little more wiggle room for a chance to win some money back. At PrizePicks, you're not playing against other people, you're just playing against the projections, and the guys at PrizePicks have worked hard to give you really attractive opportunities to make some money.
Announcement: We have two awesome new Props Optimizers for the MLB, NBA, NFL, NHL, and NCAA! The PrizePicks Optimizer and Prop Bets Optimizer are both available in our new Props Premium Package, which includes exclusive access to RotoBaller's VIP Discord chat rooms for props and betting.
PrizePicks Over/Under DFS Props Contests
PrizePicks has two types of games. The first type of game is known as Fantasy Score, which consists of selecting various players and trying to determine if they will go over or under their projected fantasy points in a game.
The second game is known as Single Stat. For the MLB, Single Stat consists of pitcher strikeout props in which you determine if the pitcher in question will go over or under their projected strikeout total.
You can mix and match players from different types of games in your entry or select all of your plays from the same type of game. Once you have selected your players and props, you can choose the aforementioned flex play or power play option. Let's see what the board offers today!

Brandon Pfaadt LESS than 4.5 hits allowed
This is the highest-ranked prop on the PrizePicks Optimizer with over a 60% chance of success, which is a very nice number. The reason this prop is atop the chart is due to the fact that most books have this number priced around -190 to the under. Brandon Pfaadt has been solid this postseason and has not allowed more than four hits in his previous three starts.
Note: This projection was just removed and will likely come back up at 4.0
Tommy Pham LESS than 1.5 hits + runs + RBI
Tommy Pham has certainly had some big moments this postseason but he has failed to eclipse this total in seven of the Diamondbacks' 13 postseason games. He has a matchup against Max Scherzer as well, who has not been kind to him throughout his career. Across 24 plate appearances, Pham is just 3-for-23 with a .174 SLG against Scherzer.
Max Scherzer LESS than 14.5 pitching outs
We have yet to see Max Scherzer eclipse this total in the postseason after coming off of the IL against Houston in the ALCS. He has not made it longer than four innings pitched in either of his two starts and has allowed seven earned runs over a combine 6 2/3 innings pitched.
Other Recommendations:Ketel Marte MORE than 1.5 hits + runs + RBI
