Welcome to our PrizePicks MLB DFS prop picks for Monday, May 29, 2023. The 2023 MLB season is underway here at RotoBaller, and we have you covered with some terrific plays from our friends over at PrizePicks.
PrizePicks is a great DFS fantasy picks site where you can choose to select plays in terms of fantasy points or single stats. The goal is to build a 2-player, 3-player, 4-player, or 5-player entry and then select whether or not you want to play for the power play or the flex play. On the power play, you will need to be correct on each of your selections to win, and on the flex play, you will have a little more wiggle room for a chance to win some money back. At PrizePicks, you're not playing against other people, you're just playing against the projections, and the guys at PrizePicks have worked hard to give you really attractive opportunities to make some money.
Announcement: We have two awesome new Props Optimizers for the MLB, NBA, NFL, NHL, and NCAA! The PrizePicks Optimizer and Prop Bets Optimizer are both available in our new Props Premium Package, which includes exclusive access to RotoBaller's VIP Discord chat rooms for props and betting.

PrizePicks Over/Under DFS Props Contests
PrizePicks has two types of games. The first type of game is known as Fantasy Score, which consists of selecting various players and trying to determine if they will go over or under their projected fantasy points in a game.
The second game is known as Single Stat. For the MLB, Single Stat consists of pitcher strikeout props in which you determine if the pitcher in question will go over or under their projected strikeout total.
You can mix and match players from different types of games in your entry or select all of your plays from the same type of game. Once you have selected your players and props, you can choose the aforementioned flex play or power play option. Let's see what the board offers today!

Tyler Wells more than 4.5 strikeouts
This play is a tad risky as the Guardians are posting the lowest K rate vs. right-handers over the previous two weeks with a rate of just 18%. That being said, they have shown the ability to strike out vs. right-handers at times, as noted by the nine-strikeout performance Michael Kopech put up on them on May 24. Wells has struck out at least five in each of his previous three starts and in six starts overall.
Austin Riley more than 8.0 hitter fantasy score
Austin Riley has eclipsed this total in three of his previous five games and is posting a 1.164 OPS over the previous week. He will be up against Athletics right-hander Paul Blackburn, which should be good news for Riley. Riley has posted a .855 OPS with 62 home runs vs. right-handers since 2021. Once Blackburn is finished, Riley will also get to feast on the abysmal Athletics bullpen, who have ranked near the bottom of the league in ERA all season.
Michael Kopech more than 6.5 strikeouts
Kopech has struck out seven or more in three of his previous five starts, including 19 strikeouts over his last 15 innings pitched. He has a solid matchup tonight against the Angels, who are posting the 10th-highest K rate vs. right-handers over the previous two weeks with a rate of 24%. They are also pairing this with a lackluster walk rate of just 8.3%.
Taj Bradley more than 5.5 strikeouts
Bradley has burst onto the scene and struck out six or more in four of his five starts on the season. He has a solid matchup in terms of strikeouts against the Cubs as they are currently posting the sixth-highest K rate (27.1%) vs. right-handers over the previous two weeks. They are also posting just an 89 wRC+ over that same span, which should help Bradley navigate the lineup.
